We had a great time with our friends, the Aronsen family, who came to California on their way home to Norway for the first 5 days after we arrived. Daughter Erna Karin and Melissa got some extra days as Erna flew on to join her family in Chicago as they continue their trip across the US.

Now that we are settled into our place here in Southern California, we have been working on the details of our transition: buying a used car for the road trip, getting our shipment of household goods ready to be moved from here to Florida, and of course visiting with family and friends.
