Basketball Time!

Well, it’s December in Japan and for the next 3 months it’s basketball season!  Ben, our senior, is anchoring the team in the big man spot, but we have 2 others playing that spot equally well, so some good height this year.  We also have a lot of speed and we are using it.  Two Japanese high school club teams played so far.  We won 100 – 69 and tonight we won by 109-33 (playing a lower level team, though).  Real test is on Wednesday against Zama, one of the military base schools.  Pray for Ben and the guys – protection and safety; the first game one of Ben’s friends broke his nose in a knock up with the back of another players head!
