Here is a family update on some of the fun we have had recently.
While visiting Rochelle’s mom at Thanksgiving we celebrated Rochelle’s birthday. Her uncle Dick was there and Josh took the picture.
Rochelle volunteers in Josh’s class each week. During culture emphasis she shared about Japan one day!
Josh went to school for a parade day of book characters dressed as Cat in the Hat.
After school let out for the year Rochelle and I put together a birthday party for Jesus for kids from Josh’s class, here they are listening to the Christmas story.
We visited St. Augustine and saw the lighthouse.
We all climbed the 219 steps to the top of the lighthouse for a look!
Josh saw (and heard!) this Spanish soldier fire off the cannon from the Castillo de San Marcos, an unbeaten Spanish fortification in St. Augustine.
We had some of our friends over from our STINT year here in Orlando.
